About the Core Hotel
Located just a 5-minute walk from Shiraho Beach, the Core Hotel is a private accommodation limited to two groups per day, nestled in the nature-rich Shiraho village.
While conveniently located just 7 minutes by car from the airport and 18 minutes from the city center, the area retains the charm of traditional Okinawa, offering an authentic local atmosphere.
Each 60㎡ room comes with a private lawn garden, designed to provide both the comfort of “feeling at home” and the excitement of a special travel experience.
You may choose from two identical-layout rooms: Room 01 or Room 02.
A family-friendly stay, safe and enjoyable even with young children
We strive to create a space where families with small children can stay comfortably and with peace of mind. The raised-floor bedroom allows beds to be connected into a family bed, making co-sleeping easier. There is also a tatami room where you can sleep on futons.
We offer complimentary baby equipment rentals, so you can travel light.
There is also a home theater system available, perfect for evenings or rainy days when you prefer to stay in. Guests can enjoy unlimited access to movies, anime, and other streaming content.

We have prepared a lawn garden where you can enjoy outdoor time during your stay. Whether it’s having a BBQ, relaxing in a hammock, or stargazing under the night sky, the garden offers a special experience.
An outdoor shower is also available, perfect for rinsing off after the beach.

Relax and unwind with our artificial hot spring
In February 2026, we introduced an artificial hot spring system.
By passing water through special ceramics and mineral layers, the system creates water that warms your body similarly to a natural hot spring.
Please enjoy a relaxing bath to soothe your daily fatigue and travel weariness.
Hot spring water is also available from the shower.

Although located in a quite residential area away from the city center, convenience is still within reach:
• Convenience stores and supermarkets: about 8–11 minutes by car
• Local shops within walking distance
• Popular restaurants and dessert shops are also located within Shiraho village
• Bus stops (to the airport and city center): about a 5-minute walk
And best of all, Shiraho Beach is just a 5-minute walk away — perfect for morning walks, picnics, or even snorkeling tours.

Shiraho village is not a tourist resort, but a residential community where people of all ages live.
To ensure a pleasant stay for both residents and guests, please follow the guidelines below:
Please be mindful that this is a living community and behave respectfully
• Avoid making noise late at night
• Do not walk around the village wearing only swimwear
• Do not enter sacred sites (Utaki) or places of worship located throughout the village
• Camping or sleeping outdoors on Shiraho Beach is not permitted
• Please ask for permission before taking photos or videos of private homes or sacred sites
• Do not litter (cigarettes, cans, plastic bottles, etc.)
• Do not take plants or animals from the area
• When driving within the village, please drive slowly and carefully, giving priority to pedestrians
• Local religious ceremonies and festivals are not tourist attractions.
• Please refrain from photographing these events
Natural Disaster & Severe Weather Policy
At the Core Hotel, we want every guest to book their trip with confidence.
Ishigaki Island is blessed with beautiful nature, but weather conditions such as typhoons and severe storms may occasionally affect flights and ferries.
We never want our guests to feel pressured to travel in unsafe conditions. Instead, we believe that peace of mind comes from two things:
What we can do as your accommodation
What you can prepare in advance, such as travel cancellation insurance
This policy is designed to provide a fair, transparent, and consistent approach whenever travel is affected by natural disasters or severe weather.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance before your trip.
Travel insurance gives you peace of mind and helps protect your travel investment if unexpected events affect your plans.
Depending on your policy, it may cover accommodation, flights, ferries, rental cars, activities, and other travel expenses (coverage varies by provider).
Our goal is simple:
We want every guest to feel confident booking their stay, knowing they are prepared even if nature changes their travel plans.
Our Policy
If scheduled public transportation (such as flights or ferries) is cancelled or suspended due to natural disasters or severe weather, preventing you from reaching the Core Hotel on your scheduled arrival date,
we will refund the accommodation charges for the nights you were unable to stay.
Example
Reservation: 3 nights
Night 1: Flight cancelled
Night 2: You arrive in Ishigaki
Refund: Night 1 accommodation charge
If you are unable to reach the hotel at any point during your reservation,
your accommodation charges will be refunded in full.
If you prefer to reschedule instead of cancelling,
we are happy to change your reservation without any change fee, subject to availability.
If the room rate for your new dates is different, only the price difference will be adjusted.
If the new reservation is less expensive, your original payment will be applied in full to your future stay, and any remaining balance will not be refunded.
How We Determine Eligibility
This policy applies when scheduled public transportation (such as flights or ferries) is cancelled or suspended due to natural disasters or severe weather, making it impossible to reach the Core Hotel on your scheduled arrival date.
Eligibility is based solely on whether it was physically possible to reach the hotel using scheduled public transportation.
We do not determine eligibility based on:
The size or category of a typhoon
Weather warnings or advisories
Personal opinions about whether travel was advisable
If scheduled public transportation was operating and it was possible to reach the hotel, our standard cancellation policy applies, even if you decide not to continue your trip because your stay would be shorter.
This policy does not apply to cancellations caused by personal circumstances, including but not limited to:
Rental car or private vehicle breakdown
Traffic delays
Oversleeping
Forgotten passports, driver's licenses, or other travel documents
Other personal reasons unrelated to public transportation disruptions
Required Documents
To ensure fair and consistent application of this policy, we may request:
Your original flight or ferry booking confirmation
An official cancellation certificate issued by the airline or ferry operator
Additional supporting documents if necessary
